#142: Zenkashoin KYOTO Muromachi Store

The caffeine here is matcha green tea.

“Zen no Zen” – a bowl of matcha with Zenkashoin’s selection of cakes. Fluffy, chewy, and creamy.

A summer special – hojicha (roasted green tea) flavoured shaved-ice and jelly with a black sesame cookie.

This place is half cafe and half store.

#141: Brooklyn Roasting Company Namba

Apparently this Brooklyn Roasting Company started in New York circa 2010, and now they have three locations within Japan – two in Osaka, one in Tokyo. This is one of the Osaka ones.

(They were doing a collaboration period with the Keith Haring Museum when I first went, and had art work all over. It was gone the second time I went, though.)

Token Pizza is right next door and they’re connected as one big floor room inside.
(Token Pizza: http://tokenpizza.com/ )

Coffee lemonade, canele, seasonal doughnut (orange).

Pepperoni pizza, Italian sausage pizza, onion rings, homemade pickles.

The Token Pizza side of things.

Latte – my choice of bean/blend was the Iris Espresso.

They sell a whole range of coffee beans and other merchandise.
